Our Mission

At The Company of Heaven, we are dedicated to helping people thrive by implementing quality educational methods, such as MOUVE, while also improving access to healthy, organic food through our Rescue Fruits & Vegetables Project. We believe that learning and nourishment go hand in hand—when people are well-fed, they learn better, and when they are educated, they make healthier choices. By supporting both, we’re working to build stronger individuals, families, and communities for a brighter, more balanced future.

Healthcare Expenditure

Despite spending more on healthcare than any other nations, the United States and many Western countries consistently rank among the least healthy in terms of chronic disease, obesity, and overall well-being. This paradox highlights a deeper issue: a system that prioritizes treatment over prevention, profits over people, and reactive care over proactive wellness. The result is high costs with poor outcomes, revealing the urgent need to shift toward holistic, preventative approaches that address the root causes of poor health.

Education Expenditure

Although the United States and other Western nations invest heavily in education, we are witnessing a troubling decline in critical thinking, literacy, and civic understanding. This disconnect suggests that funding alone is not enough—our education systems often emphasize standardized testing and outdated models over creativity, curiosity, and real-world skills. As a result, despite high expenditures, many students are left without the tools they need to thrive or think independently in a rapidly changing world.

The Vital Link Between Health and Education: A Powerful Cycle

Health and education are not separate lanes—they form a powerful, interdependent cycle that shapes the trajectory of individuals and communities alike. When one thrives, the other tends to follow. When one falters, both feel the impact.

How Health Fuels Learning

A healthy body supports a healthy mind. Proper nutrition, adequate sleep, mental wellness, and access to healthcare directly influence a student's ability to concentrate, retain information, and stay engaged in the classroom. Chronic illness, malnutrition, or untreated mental health conditions can create barriers to attendance, participation, and academic success.

How Education Supports Health

Education empowers individuals with knowledge, skills, and critical thinking—essential tools for making informed health choices. Higher levels of education are consistently linked to longer lifespans, healthier behaviors, and improved access to care. Educated communities are more likely to advocate for health resources, create supportive environments, and break cycles of poverty and disease.

A Cyclical Relationship

Health and education feed into one another. A child who is healthy is more likely to excel in school. A student who excels is more likely to make health-positive decisions and access greater opportunities. When we invest in both—equally and intentionally—we don't just improve individual outcomes; we create generational change.

“Intelligence and skills can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.” — John F. Kennedy
